The game

What is PokerSolo?

PokerSolo is a free online version of Poker Squares, a classic solitaire card game. You place 25 cards on a 5×5 grid and score a poker hand in each of the 5 rows and 5 columns.

How do I play?

Cards are revealed one at a time. Place each card in any empty cell of the grid. Cards cannot be moved once placed. When all 25 cells are full, every row and column is scored as a poker hand and the points are added together.

How is scoring calculated?

PokerSolo uses American scoring: Royal Flush 100, Straight Flush 75, Four of a Kind 50, Full House 25, Flush 20, Straight 15, Three of a Kind 10, Two Pair 5 and One Pair 2. Lines with no pair score 0.

Can an ace be low in a straight?

Yes. Aces count high (10-J-Q-K-A) or low (A-2-3-4-5) when forming straights.

What is a good score?

There is no single benchmark for every deal. Track your scores over several games, and use the Daily Challenge to compare results on the same cards. A good next goal is to improve on your own average while building hands in both directions.

Is PokerSolo free?

Yes. PokerSolo is completely free to play. You can try two demo games without an account, and creating an account is free.

Daily Challenge

How does the Daily Challenge work?

Every day, every player receives the same shuffled deck. You get one attempt, and your score is ranked on a global daily leaderboard. After playing you can compare your score with a computer-found arrangement. That benchmark uses a heuristic search and is not a proven maximum.

When does a new Daily Challenge start?

A new Daily Challenge begins every day at midnight UTC. A countdown on the Daily page shows the time remaining.

What is a daily streak?

Your streak counts how many days in a row you have played the Daily Challenge. Missing a day resets the streak.

Coins, odds and stats

What are coins used for?

Coins are virtual play money. You can wager coins on reaching a target score: higher targets pay more but are harder to reach. Coins have no real-world value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money, goods or services.

Why is betting locked at first?

Your first two games are free practice games. PokerSolo uses them to calibrate your personal odds before you start wagering coins.

What are personal odds?

Personal odds are your estimated chances of reaching each target score, based on your own past results compared with the whole community. The payout for each target reflects those odds.

What is the Precision Index?

The Precision Index averages your score as a percentage of the computer-found benchmark on eligible completed games. The benchmark uses a heuristic search, so it is not a proven maximum. Use it as an approximate comparison across different deals, alongside your average score.

Multiplayer and account

How does multiplayer work?

In multiplayer rooms, all players receive the same sequence of cards and play their own grids. When everyone finishes, the highest score wins.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. PokerSolo works in any modern mobile browser and can be installed to your home screen like an app.

How do I delete my account?

Use the Account Deletion page to verify ownership and permanently delete your account when automatic deletion is available. There is no recovery window. If you cannot sign in or need help, email pokersolo.app@gmail.com.

How can I contact you?
