About PokerSolo

Poker Squares (also called Poker Solitaire) is a single-player card game that has been played for decades and appears in many classic card game collections. The idea is simple: deal cards one at a time into a 5×5 grid and try to form the best poker hands in every row and column.

The game has two well-known scoring systems. The American system, used by PokerSolo, follows traditional poker values closely. The English system re-ranks hands by how difficult they are to make in the grid. Poker Squares has also attracted interest from artificial intelligence researchers, including the EAAI Parameterized Poker Squares challenge, because it combines simple rules with a huge number of possible decisions.

We love games that are quick to learn and rewarding to master. Poker Squares fits perfectly: one game takes a few minutes, there is no opponent to wait for, and every decision matters. We wanted a version that is clean, fast, works on any device, and adds a reason to come back every day.

• Personal odds — PokerSolo uses your results and community scores to estimate your chance of reaching each target score.
• Virtual coins — wager play-money coins on beating a target score. Coins have no cash value and cannot be bought or sold.
• Stats and history — track your average score, best score, Precision Index and recent games.
• Installable app — add PokerSolo to your home screen and play like a native app.

PokerSolo is a game of skill played with virtual coins only. There is no real-money gambling, no purchases are required to play, and coins cannot be exchanged for anything of value. Card deals are generated on our servers so that scores on the leaderboards are fair for everyone.
